BUTLER TOWNSHIP, LUZERNE COUNTY- Police are trying to determine if a woman at the wheel of a stolen car is to blame for a pair of Luzerne County burglaries a couple nights ago.

Both happened within minutes of each other Wednesday night around 10 o'clock. Butler Township Police responded to burglar alarms at Auto parts International in the Can-Do Corporate Center then at Balliet's Country Store on North Hunter Highway.

Police spotted a car in the parking lot at Balliets and found 42-year-old Dawn Franklin of Drums hiding in the car. Franklin was also wanted for escaping Luzerne County Prison's work release program last month.

She's now back in jail.
