MONROE COUNTY- Monroe
County has a plan to honor its veterans and if you'd like to get involved you need to sign up by Friday August 1st. The
Monroe
County veteran’s affairs office will hold a ceremony to honor veterans of all wars on September 3rd. There will be special speakers and singers. All of the veterans who sign up will receive a commemorative coin and certificate thanking them for their service. If you don't sign up for the ceremony you are still eligible to receive your coin and certificate. Just call the veterans affairs office at 570-517-3187 for more information.
