HAZLE TOWNSHIP LUZERNE COUNTY- State Police say they have nabbed a brazen daylight burglar.

27-year-old William Davis is accused of breaking into at least four homes in the Ridgewood housing development of Hazle Township. The crimes took place in June.

Police say he would wait for people to go to work and then break in. He is charged with taking cash, jewelry, and even a laptop computer to make some quick cash.

He also tried to escape from the Luzerne County prison after his first arrest on a theft charge in July.
