GLENBURN TWP., LACKAWANNA COUNTY- The clean up continues after a train derailment in Glenburn Township.

9 cars jumped the tracks just after 12:30 Tuesday morning. The derailment happened just behind the Glenburn Township building.

It startled nearby neighbors when the train went off-track. Most of the cars were empty so no hazardous chemicals spilled, but DEP crews are sampling the air as a pre-caution.

The cause of the derailment is under investigation.
