The kids gathered everything from snacks to socks to send to the soldiers and each of them included a personal letter along with their supplies. Burns fielded questions from the kids about army life in Iraq and even let one of the kids try on his cavalry hat. After their talk he treated them to a pizza party.

Specialist Burns says he is enjoying his family and a lot of good home cooking while he is home in Pittston on leave.
