SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY-Baseball fans and particularly Boston Red Sox fans might be a little tired if they
woke up to watch the opener of the 2008 MLB Season.
The defending World Champions Red Sox faced the Oakland A's at 6 am Eastern Daylight Time, the first pitch being in Tokyo Japan. MLB trying to get the fans in the global market. We caught up with a Red Sox fanatic and University of Scranton student who set the alarm to get up to see his Red Sox.
Tom Guiler said he had to see the game live on ESPN 2. Tom tells us there is nothing like baseball's opening day. When all teams have a chance as hope springs eternal!!!
