MIFFLINBURG, UNION COUNTY- No decision yet on a historic union county building.
But there are plenty of opinions.
The Mifflinburg Council was to decide the fate of the historic Union County building Tuesday night
Right now the council is weighing lots of options. Everything from renovating the condemned building and selling it
Or simply demolishing it.
A lot people, like Paul and Patrice DuPris are in favor of preserving the building.
Paul Dupris tells us "I am a firm believer in preservation so i think the building should be preserved"
Patrice DuPris agrees "They really need to stabilize it whether they decide to sell it or restore it for future use but once the building is demolished its gone forever and we are talking about a building from 1850's "
The council decided to stablize the building and form a committee look to look into the options. | | |
